In October 2025, the Project Expedition team headed to Zurich for our Annual Team Trip, a tradition that allows us to experience top tours firsthand, strengthen our supplier relationships, and deepen our understanding of the destinations we offer our clients. This year’s adventure combined the perfect mix of city exploration and iconic Swiss experiences.
From the moment our team landed in Zurich, the experience was smooth and stress-free thanks to our trusted transfer partners. With team members arriving on different flights throughout the day, coordinating logistics could have been complicated, but our transfer partners made it effortless. Each traveler was met at the airport and transferred comfortably to our hotel, ensuring everyone arrived safely, swiftly, and seamlessly
We started with an early morning trip to Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall by volume. From the viewing platforms, we were mesmerized by the roar of the water. Later, back in Zurich, our guide took us around the city, where we explored historic streets and rode the Polybahn up to the university terrace for a panoramic view of the charming city below.
The next day, we ventured into the Swiss countryside with ARATOURS SA, making our first stop in Rapperswil, known as the “Town of Roses.” The medieval castle overlooking the town offered stunning views, and the lakefront scenery was a beautiful sight to soak in. From there, we crossed the border into Liechtenstein, Europe’s fourth-smallest country, to explore its capital, Vaduz. Though the castle is closed to the public, the cathedral, government buildings, and storybook streets made it feel like a charming alpine village.

We saved one of the best experiences for our final day: a trip to Mount Rigi, the “Queen of the Mountains.” Our adventure began with a scenic cogwheel train ride from Arth-Goldau to Rigi Kulm, where panoramic views of the Alps and Lake Lucerne took our breath away. As Jena Francil from our supply team shared, “The mountain views from the ferry departing Rigi were incredible—they’ll stay with me for a long time and made me certain I’ll return to Switzerland one day.” After exploring the mountaintop, we rode the cogwheel train down to Vitznau and enjoyed a leisurely boat ride on Lake Lucerne, a picture-perfect finale before returning to Zurich.

One of the highlights of any Project Expedition trip is the chance to meet the incredible suppliers who make our tours shine. This year, we hosted a lively event at Bar Muenster in Zurich, welcoming our top-selling partners. The room was buzzing with energy as our team mingled with suppliers, sharing insights, swapping stories, and learning firsthand what makes their experiences unique and special. These moments of connection help us understand the tours, suppliers, and behind-the-scenes details that make Project Expedition trips truly exceptional.
Here’s the full list of suppliers who joined us at the event:
Carmine’s See Amalfi Coast in Italy
Ancient Greece Tours & Transfers
ARATOURS SA (AlpTransfer, AlpExcursion, Switzerland Tour)
Vip Santorini Transfers and Tours
Our time in Zurich concluded with a traditional Swiss raclette dinner and our annual CamelTank, where team members shared ideas to help shape the future of Project Expedition. It was a fitting end to a trip centered on connection and collaboration. We returned home inspired and energized, ready to apply what we experienced in Switzerland to the exceptional trips we create for our travelers.
