This cycling trip covers the second half of the Camino del Norte, the Northern Way of the Camino de Santiago. You will be starting your Camino in the coastal city of Gijón, in Asturias, and follow the northern coast into Galicia. On your way, you will be staying in stunning seaside villages and towns, passing sandy beaches and coves; and cycling across the lush countryside. As you cross the bridge over the River Eo you will arrive in Ribadeo, the first town in Galicia and home to one of Spain’s most famous beaches: the Cathedrals Beach. From Ribadeo, the Camino del Norte then heads inland, into rural Galicia. You will cycle to the sleepy town of Mondoñedo, the old capital of the Kingdom of Galicia, where you can admire its grand buildings and cathedral. You will continue along with forests, peaceful hamlets and country roads. Don’t forget to claim your Compostela certificate when you arrive in Santiago de Compostela!

Explore Oaxaca By Bike: Immerse yourself in the state of Oaxaca, one of the most complete tourist destinations of Mexico. This state has it all: beaches, mountains, valleys, pre-Colombian villages, and cities. It has a wealth of old traditions and endless folklore. Get familiar with all these old traditions and the local life of Oaxaca by bike. One of the towns you will visit is San Bartolo Coyotepec, the place where the famous Oaxaca black pottery is made. Discover the amazing local way of life by bicycling through the streets of the old towns and villages.

The stunning UNESCO World Heritage city of Porto in Northern Portugal is a wonderful place to start your journey cycling the Camino Portugues or Portuguese Way. Bike-pilgrims (also known as ‘bicigrinos’) will get to see many different landscapes across Northern Portugal and Galicia on your way to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. From vineyards and forests to green hills and coastal paths, you will cycle past many lovely villages with magnificent Baroque and Romanesque churches. This is the trail taken by Queen Isabel of Portugal on her way to Santiago de Compostela in the 13th century; and followed by many Portuguese pilgrims since. You will cycle across the International Bridge between Valencia do Minho, in Portugal, and Tui, in Galicia, to continue your journey towards Santiago. As you reach the Rías Baixas, treat yourself to a glass of its world-famous Albariño white wine and superb seafood. In Galicia, the Camino Portugues takes pilgrims through lovely wooded areas, farmland and historic villages and towns such as wonderful Pontevedra.

Bicycle touring offers you the perfect means to explore a region rich in history with a stunning forested landscape. The bike tour will start at the Bridge Over the River Kwai and take you to the Hellfire Pass Memorial. Both are a part of the infamous World War II Death Railway linking Thailand and Burma. Leaving the bikes beside the tracks a while, you will ride one of the most thrilling and scenic sections of the Death Railway still in operation today. As a finale to the bike tour on the last day of cycling, you will pedal up to the ancient Khmer ruins of Muang Singh. The biking in Kanchanaburi is small back roads and many unsealed tracks. Bike touring is a unique way to experience the natural unseen countryside of Kanchanaburi.
Cycle the Camino and experience the magic of the classic Camino de Santiago route on two wheels. On this tour, you will be cycling the Camino Francés from the lively city of Ponferrada, across the spectacular mountains of O Cebreiro and into Santiago de Compostela. You will ride the last 200kms of the Camino Francés and experience some of the route’s most important cultural, natural and historic highlights. You will meet fellow Camino cyclists as you will cycle from the lush El Bierzo region and the mountains of O Cebreiro. From picturesque O Cebreiro, the Camino takes bicigrinos along the forests and rolling green hills of Galicia; all the way to magnificent Santiago de Compostela.
