The trail running camp is all about celebrating the end of another summer of trail running. Now's the time to learn how to use winter to maintain your fitness and improve your form for an even stronger summer next year.
Enjoy guided trail runs in the beautiful Conwy Valley with expert coaching from Tim Higginbottom. As well as being a qualified UKA Fell & Trail Coach, Tim held the Paddy Buckley Round record for 10 years and he is the current Welsh Orienteering Champion. With Tim’s guidance, you’ll learn how to work on your strength and technique during the off-season, ensuring you come back stronger than ever next year.
Experience a whole new side of Wales on an exciting running holiday that takes you from the border to the beach, leaving conventional travel behind as you traverse the rugged and picturesque mid-Wales countryside at your own pace. Lose yourself in the untamed wilderness of Wales, as you pass by the historic Cistercian Abbey, the remarkable Devils Bridge, and the magnificent Elan Valley reservoir, before finally reaching the coastal town of Aberystwyth, complete with its 13th century castle and the Pen Dinas iron age hill fort. But be warned, this is no easy feat - the three full days of running technical trails cover a total of 55 miles, making this a true test of endurance. Join forces with Tim Higginbottom, a seasoned UKA Fell & Trail Coach who held the Paddy Buckley Round record for 10 years and currently holds the title of Welsh Orienteering Champion, to tackle new routes that you've never attempted before.
