Penas Blancas River
Grande River (panama)
Chiriqui Viejo River
The Chagres River is virtually unseen in the trek trough the Chagres National Park due to the lack of access roads, protection against settlers, and the previous non-existence of Aventuras Panamá. This part of the river, characterized by currents alternating with backwaters, is considered as Class II, although several rapids are considered Class III by the International Classification of River Navigation.
As a result of dense tropical forest that covers the basin of the river, sedimentation is minimum; therefore, clear water can be expected very often. The flora is typical of the tropical rain forest, with more than three hundred species per hectarea. Although it is the natural habitat of big mammals such as tapir and jaguar, tropical rainforest animals , they are very seldom encountered. It is much easier to spot several others samples of the fauna, such as monkeys of the rainforest(spider, howler, whiteface capuchin , Geoffrey's Tamarin), sloth, river otter, iguana, tucan, and plenty of fish.
Once in the virgin jungle of Chagres National Park you will ask if this is the next tvshow survivor panama destination.
Our guides are trained in white-water navigation skills, first-aid and CPR.
The highlights of this active holiday include canoeing/kayaking, rafting, walking and cycling in the area around Plitvice Lakes National Park while experiencing breath-taking views and stunning scenery. Plitvice Lakes National Park, a World Heritage Site, plays host to 16 lakes, numerous waterfalls fed by both the Black and White Rivers, as well as seemingly endless forests which make for a unique and unforgettable experience. The itinerary will also take you on a journey down the Zrmanja River by kayak, rafting down the Una River in Bosnia and we will end the week by kayaking down the beautiful Mreznica Canyon. You can expect to paddle about 10 miles a day (four hours), but our schedule is very weather dependent. Previous kayaking experience is recommended, but not required. The rivers are friendly – they have pleasant temperatures in summer and they are not dangerous or physically demanding.
Skradin is a unique town hidden in the Krka River estuary, 80 kilometres from Split, on the very edge of the National Park Krka River. The small picturesque town, rich in history, has a couple of family-run hotels, restaurants, pubs and wineries, a beach and marina - all in friendly atmosphere. Afternoons will be spent in relaxing ambience of Zadar and Sibenik old towns, Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace in Split or Trogir art treasures - both UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Montenegro is an excellent choice for your holidays, it has many remarkable characteristics: history, culture, tradition, good weather conditions, clean air, beautiful nature, blue Adriatic Sea and much more hidden in the mountains... Everyone should visit Montenegro sometime. This little country is part of the Balkans and part of the Mediterranean, near Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Italy and Albania. It is one of the most southern European states and it comes out in the south part of the Adriatic Sea. Montenegro lies on the Balkan Peninsula in the very heart of Europe. There is nowhere else that you can find, in such a small place, so much natural wealth, beauty, mild beaches, clear lakes, fast rivers and gorgeous mountains like you can in the small country of Montenegro. In the morning you can wake up along the beautiful Adriatic coast, have lunch on the banks of Skadar Lake, and enjoy the evening walks in the Montenegrin Mountains. Montenegro is a place that cannot leave you indifferent.
