If you’re a foodie wondering where to eat in Mexico City, we recommend taking the Mezcal, Tacos, and Pulque Tour in the Roma Norte neighborhood (just west of the city center). The tour is 3.5 hours long and will bring you to five different (and beloved) taco spots. You’ll also get the chance to sample five different mezcals and three different pulques (pulque is an alcoholic beverage native to Mexico and once consumed by the Aztecs) while learning about the history of the Roma neighborhood.
This food tour departs from Chetito Restaurant in Roma Norte, Mexico City. Available with Get Your Guide for $120.
If you’re looking for non-touristy things to do in Mexico City, consider taking the Mexico City’s hidden neighborhoods tour. During this 4.5-hour jaunt through some of Mexico City’s most interesting neighborhoods, you’ll experience traditional Mexico City street art, diverse architecture, and spot some of Mexico City’s most famous attractions like the Moorish Kiosk structure and the Biblioteca Vasconcelos (which was named one of the most beautiful libraries in the world by Culture Trip).
The Hidden Neighborhoods tour departs from the entrance of the Barrio Alameda building in Centro Historico, Mexico City. Available with Get Your Guide for $73.
The Lights Night Bike Ride offers travelers a glimpse of Mexico City’s nightlife and tourist attractions like Chapultepec Park—all on a bicycle!
