The Camp: Florida Caverns is one of the few state parks with dry (air-filled) caves and is the only state park in Florida to offer cave tours to the public. The Florida Cavern has dazzling formations of limestone stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, flowstones, and draperies. The Chipola River and Blue Hole spring provide areas for fishing, kayaking, and swimming. The Paddle: Fed by numerous springs, this scenic 51-mile paddling trail flows through high bluffs, river swamps, and hardwood forests, with few signs of humanity along most of the river. Chipola River is a photographer’s delight with colorful fall foliage, spring wildflowers, and abundant wildlife. The water alters color from clear gold to an opal-like blue, with crystal clear springs tucked along the river. Limestone bluffs and caves, part of the unique karst geology, add to the unique beauty of the Chipola River.

Experience the stillness, silence, and solitude, paddling the pristine rivers that make up the Blackwater Forest. When combined with its neighbors the Conecuh National Forest and Eglin Air Force Base, you have the world’s largest long-leaf pine forest. This ancient forest is home to rare species including the Red-cockaded Woodpeckers, Pitcher Plants, and Gopher Tortoises, just to name a few.
Located in the heart of North Florida’s vast forests lies hundreds of large magnitude crystalline springs that feed several outstanding rivers and waterways including the Santa Fe, Suwannee, Ichetucknee, and the Northern Withlacoochee. These springs were featured in National Geographic Magazine in March of 1999. Our base camp will be a brand new lodge at the confluence of the Suwannee and Northern Withlacoochee Rivers. Over the course of the week, we will paddle several scenic rivers, go tubing down a spring run, snorkel a host of large springs, and explore an area of Florida rich in history, culture, and unbridled beauty.

Come enjoy and paddle America’s first Wild and Scenic river. Our plan is to paddle the entire 150 miles from Ponca to the confluence of the White River near Buffalo City. We will avoid all the developed campsites and instead make our camps deep in the backcountry. When we aren’t paddling we can take time to explore caves, and waterfalls, go swimming, or just chill out in camp listening for elks and watching the river flow by.
Eco-adventure in the Yucatan: Explore and experience the most beautiful sites of the Yucatan Peninsula and the Riviera Maya in only 7 days. This tour contains historical, challenging, and funny activities. This eco-tour will give you an authentic tourism experience and more knowledge of Mexico. Discover the history and wildlife, snorkel in a cenote, and swim with a Whale Shark. Escape from your daily life and go on this unforgettable tour with adventure, nature, and culture.
