Two days of world wonders, Romans, and royals. This tour whisks you away from the modernity of London to the ancient Stonehenge and through England’s defining eras. You explore Windsor Castle, a thousand-year-old fort that’s seen dramatic sieges and gregarious royal weddings. You venture to Bath, where both the pagans and Romans washed themselves in ‘mythical’ hot springs. Windsor Castle - Boiling oil was once poured over the walls during a siege of this 1,000-year-old royal residence. Stonehenge - The spiritual center of pagan Britain and one of the most perplexing prehistoric sites in the world. Bath - Luxuriate in the warm tones of the local honey-colored stone used in Georgian architecture. The Cotswolds - Honey-hued stone, local produce, and trickling streams: England's village-life is impossibly idyllic.
