This private guided 2-day tour from Paris offers a well-paced exploration of Normandy’s most popular sites, combining art, history, and iconic landscapes. Travel comfortably with a chauffeur-driven vehicle and enjoy guided visits throughout, with overnight accommodation included. On day one, depart Paris for Giverny, just over an hour away. Visit the Maison Claude Monet and its gardens, followed by free time in the village for a relaxed lunch. Continue in the afternoon to Mont-Saint-Michel, arriving in the early evening as the crowds thin. Explore the abbey with your guide, admire the changing tides, and enjoy the quieter atmosphere before heading to Caen or Bayeux for an overnight stay in a selected 3–4★ hotel. Day two focuses on Normandy’s World War II history. Begin at the Caen Memorial Museum, then continue to key sites including Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, and the Normandy American Cemetery. A stop at a traditional Normandy cider farm adds a regional touch before the return drive to Paris in the late afternoon. This tour is designed to be informative, comfortable, and well balanced, allowing enough time at each location without rushing. We offer a custom day tour to the Loire Valley that we can easily include as part of a multi-day Normandy trip. After leaving Normandy on Day 2, you will travel to the Loire Valley for the night. This allows you to spend the entire following day exploring the region.
