Region

Nova Scotia - Canada

Canada is one of the largest countries in the world and stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific. In addition to endless miles of coastline, the country is home to the northern stretch of the Rocky Mountains, beautiful prairies and even arctic tundra. Canada actually has two official languages, English and French. Most of the active-speaking French population can be found in Quebec, which is a beautiful region filled with culture and architecture that is unique from other areas in the country. Toronto is the largest city in Canada, but If you head west, you will eventually pass through Alberta, home to the 1988 Winter Olympics, the beautiful national parks surrounding the Rocky Mountains, and eventually arrive at Vancouver, home to the 2010 Winter Olympics. It goes without saying that if the world's best athletes can find something to do in Canada, so can you! see more see less
