About the award

Virtuoso announced its 2026 Global Awards during the 38th annual Virtuoso Travel Week, held August 8–14 in Las Vegas, and celebrated honorees at the Virtuoso Awards Gala on August 13. Best Tour Operator, one of Virtuoso's Partner Awards, "recognizes a tour operator or wholesaler partner with the most compelling vacation options and itineraries, whether FIT or escorted."

Nominations came from a survey of the Virtuoso network, and elected members of Virtuoso's Boards and Committees voted on the winners. In other words, this recognition came from advisors and the people who lead their community.
