Arenal Volcano is a must see when visiting Costa Rica and something that all couples will be enchanted by. Your adventure begins with hiking in Arenal Volcano National Park, where you will walk along many of the old lava beds. While hiking, you’re guide will teach you all about the active volcano, the vast and luscious tropical forest that surrounds it, as well as show you the beautiful La Fortuna waterfall.

After your hike you will enjoy a sumptuous dip in the very well-known Eco Termales hot springs. What better way to be able to unwind and relax with your loved one after a long day of sightseeing?

Following the relaxing hot springs, you will enjoy a romantic and delicious meal at the Eco Termales resort.

Monteverde is the perfect place for couples looking to experience a sense of thrill and excitement together. Monteverde’s rainforests are full of plants and wildlife and its zip lines and suspension bridges are the longest (and most thrilling) that Costa Rica has to offer. The Sky Tram and Selvatura Hanging bridge are very popular treetop walkways and one of the best ways to observe the breathtaking beauty of this rare ecosystem.

For the bravest of couples, there are many zip line adventures to choose from. The Sky Trek is quite popular and enables you to soar and glide over the cloud forest. If you take the Selvatura Canopy Tour, you will experience a zip line that is actually built into the cloud forest.
Monteverde One Day Tour (Hanging Bridges & Canopy) $245

Manuel Antonio

This destination is perfect for lovebirds looking to have a day of fun. Many people come here every year to immerse themselves in nature and see the monkeys, sloths, reptiles and birds that will even venture out of the forest and onto the beach. Manuel Antonio is home to 3 of the 4 existing monkey species that reside in Costa Rica and there are countless species of birds to see as well.

One of the more unique ways in which you can experience Manuel Antonio is on a stand up paddle board.  Paddle 9 offers a great introduction class to paddle board yoga. Paddle boarding is quite easy to learn and most people are pleasantly surprised at how quickly they are able to pick it up. Your instructor will give you step by step instructions and have you paddling like a pro in no time. Begin your class by drifting along the scenic and serene coastline of Manuel Antonio and finish off with some yoga exercises designed to target and strengthen your core.

Listed among the world's 12 most beautiful national parks, this is one attraction not to miss out on. Namaste!

If you and your loved one are looking for some adventure, consider visiting the beautiful province of Guanacaste and taking part in Scubacribe's 1-tank local dive. There is a lot to see and do here and you will be given the choice between three wonderful destinations to dive: Baty Point, Punta Gorda or Rocket Point. This area is preferred by most scuba divers because of the abundance of marine life in all forms including octopus, eagle rays, green moray eels, sea turtles, white-tip reef sharks and so much more.

If you have a little more adventure in your veins, you can try one of Scubacaribe's other dive trips and visit the Catalina Islands.  Here you will have the best chance of seeing the giant manta rays that so many people flock here for.  They can reach up to 7 meters, or 23 feet across!  The best time to see them is between November and May.
1 Tank Local Dive $49
